A deeper look into the artist

The orgin story

Iman Jaafar Lowery is an artist from Columbus, Ohio. He went to college at Walsh University where he played collegiate football. After hanging up the cleats he transferred to Ohio University as a regular student. While in college he pursued motivational speaking. That is when he realized his gift. He spoke to high schools students, athletes, and his online community. Iman left Ohio University to serve the United States Air Force for 4 years, he is now a veteran. He started making music January 1st, 2023 after embarking on his spiritual journey and finding self.

He goes by the stage name Sen-sā, being thought of as a teacher amongst his peers. Sen-sā makes positive music that motivates, inspires, and teaches. Although his peers looks at him as a teacher, he views himself as a student first.

"I learn from my life experiences and I feel that it is important for me to share those lessons with the world. Who knows, there may be someone who needs that information to move rise above their current situation. Why hold on to it?"

- Sen-sā

Me, MYSELF & GOD

Coming This FALL!!!

This is the cover art for my album "Me, Myself & GOD," designed by me! This album is inspired by my spiritual journey in 2023. When I sat with the Devil and found God. It was challenging to be honest. I locked myself in the house for about 2 months with the intention on focusing on myself. I changed to a plant based diet, I only listened to music/podcast that fed me spiritually, I separated myself from friends/family, I even quit my job (I used my emergency fund account to support me.) My intention was to silence all the noise. I was after a clean mind, and body. I needed clarity. Sometimes you need to separate in order to elevate.

During my fast I learned a lot about myself. When you fast you become aware of all the things you are addicted to. I realized that I wasn't moving ahead in life because I had barriers within. My demons were holding me back. "I am the problem, and the solution," is what I learned on my journey. True power comes from within, and with great power comes great responsibility. I was at war with my demons, I still am. The truth is that battle never ends. You may lose one day, and win the next. I can say that I am stronger now, and more discipline...but those demons don't just go away. They stick around, waiting for an entrance. If you don't know thyself they will consume you, and control you.  When you know self (God), and love self (God) you unlock your power. With that power you become a God. That's when your demons flee.

"I am the problem, and the solution...I AM."

Poor to Galore

Sen-sā

Poor to Galore is an upbeat track with an uplifted tone. Sen-sā dug in his bag with this track showing that he can be versatile with his cadence, tone, and lyrical content. “I already am successful. Where I was a year ago is nowhere close to where I’m at now. I am better mentally, financially, spiritually, physically and in business. I think
I think people should stop judging themselves based off of the criteria of others. Set your goals, and focus on them. Fuck the noise, and fuck who is not feeling you. I’m me and nobody cannot, nor should they try to mimic that.”
In Poor to Galore clearly Sen-sā makes it clear that he is different.

This track is different from his other tracks. Although, it does have a similar bounce to his most liked track “Fun Money” where he slides on a Detroit type beat. Just like all his tracks, he is dropping gems. “If you listen you might learn sumtin choose not to listen you ain’t gonna learn nuttin”
